Mohammed Babangida, son of Former Nigerian Military Head of State, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, has dragged his wife to a Sharia Court in Minna, Niger Sate.
Mohammed is currently battling his ex-wife, Rahama, for custody of their two eldest kids, Maryam and Ibrahim.
The Court has ruled, ordering Rahma to hand over the two children to their father, pending the determination of a substantive suit.
Rahma has since replied and objected to the Sharia’s court judgement via an FCT Area court.
However, sources close to the case have said that there might be a foul play, explaining that judgement was allegedly carried out without Rahma and her representatives being present.
Allegations are also being made that the Babangidas are manipulating the case, especially since they have notable influence in the state.
