Paris Saint Germain defender Marquinhos sarcastically wished Real Madrid and Barcelona luck in their chase of Brazilian player Neymar
The two Spanish giants have been reportedly after the Brazilian captain for some time but Neymar has branded such reports as ‘fake news’
When Marquinhos was asked about the possibility of his team mate going back to Spain, he said: “I wish Real Madrid and Barcelona the best of luck in their attempt to bring Neymar away from here,
“People know what our president is like, how he is with his people and how he loves our important players.

“So I don’t see any reason why he should leave. He has even denied it on social media so I can’t speak for him, you should ask him.”
When Thomas Tuchel was asked about the possible move, he dismissed it: “Pfft, I don’t know about that,” he said. “It is October!”
Barcelona’s vice president Jordi Cardoner also said that there is no offer in place for Neymar.
“The Barcelona board has not considered the possibility of bringing back Neymar. It is a question that cannot be answered because no one has even mentioned it.
“He was the one who left, it would be different if we hadn’t believed in him and now we wanted to bring him back, but that’s not the case.
“If we did want to sign him then the board would have to discuss it but until now no one has talked about it.”
