Popular Nigerian skit maker, Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has opened up about his struggle with what he described as a “heavy burden” that lasted for three years.
Macaroni, in a post on his X handle, revealed that his struggles began after making some of the toughest decisions of his life. He, however, expressed gratitude for overcoming the challenges, celebrating his newfound peace of mind.
Recounting his ordeal, the comedian and activist stated that he was “tested beyond limits” but remained steadfast despite the difficulties.
“I feel better than I have felt in over three years! I have peace of mind. I feel free. I’ve been carrying a heavy burden for three years now. It tested me beyond my limits and weighed me down, but I never stopped fighting,” he wrote.
Encouraging those facing similar struggles, Macaroni urged them to remain resilient, emphasizing that challenges are temporary and victory is assured for those who persist.
“I’m writing this letter of love to anyone going through a hard time right now. You might have made some tough decisions like I have, but please understand that your troubles won’t last forever. The road will be rough, but you will be victorious at the end. Don’t stop fighting!” he added.
Mr Macaroni, known for his satirical skits and vocal stance on social issues, has been a strong advocate for good governance and youth empowerment in Nigeria. His latest message has resonated with many of his fans, who have flooded the comment section with words of encouragement and appreciation.
