Supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi planning a two-million-man march for him in Kaduna would be lucky to get 200 people to attend, the state governor, Nasir el-Rufai has said.
El-Rufai, who is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said this in a Monday tweet that has since gone viral.
The governor was reacting to a post by one Obi supporter, Abdullahi Umar Zarma, who wrote, “Kaduna Two Million March for Peter Obi”.

Supporters of the Labour Party candidate have been holding solidarity rallies for him in some states of the federation, the last one being held in Nasarawa.
Reacting to plans to hold one in Kaduna, el-Rufai suggested it would be impossible for Obi supporters to raise two million people for the march in the state.
He noted that it would only materialise if the organisers “import” people into the state for the sake of the rally.
The governor tweeted, “In Kaduna? Not Kaduna Twitter? –
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
“I hope you get Two Hundred persons on the streets, including those ‘imports’ that can’t open their shops on Mondays, and came on overnight bus last night!!
“I jus’ dey laff, wallahi tallahi!!”
