A CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta, who recently had his press pass for the White House revoked, has revealed that he regularly receives death threats.
The confrontational journalist has been criticized and hit on several occasions by the Trump administration which has no love for CNN and is regularly jeered at Trump campaign rallies and mocked at official events by the man himself.
Following the pulling of his Press pass (or Hard pass), CNN and Acosta sued the President along with some other members of the White House including Press Secretary Sarah Sanders

In his affidavit, Acosta revealed instances in which he had been threatened
“In my many years as a reporter, I never received a death threat,” he said. “Now I receive death threats regularly, aimed at my work covering the president.”
Acosta who is very worried about these threats has said he’s had to look at ways to protect himself and his family “This has frightened both me and my family and required us to take additional security measures in our daily lives.”
He’s not the only one; April Ryan, a fellow White House reporter who also works as a contributor for CNN, once told The Hollywood Reporter that she’s started paying for her own security detail.
