A tricycle operator, David Okon Samuel, has given insight into his decent earnings from the job.
Samuel said he earned N3 million annually, which is N250,000 monthly.
He made the disclosure while encouraging Nigerian youths to shun internet fraud and focus on legitimate means of income.
Samuel was reacting to a post about a 22-year-old man, Dominic Joshua Ngene, who was arrested by the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) in Lagos last year and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) this year for fraud-related crimes.

Reacting, Samuel blamed the get-rich-quick syndrome in the Nigerian society on laziness and greed.
He said there were legitimate means of earning a decent income.
“Thief will always be thief except he/her repent. As a Keke rider, I make N3 million this year,” he wrote.
Giving a breakdown of his earnings, Samuel said, “10k×300 days do the math yourself. There’s no reason to involve in fraud. It’s just laziness and greed.”
However, the tricycle operator did not give a breakdown of his expenditure on petrol, repairs and union fees.
