Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has challenged Pastor E.A Adeboye to reveal reasons behind his visit to Aso Rock.

The Herald reported that the revered Clergyman was in Aso Rock on Monday where he met with President Buhari behind closed doors.

However, Adeboye kept mum, declining to answer questions of eagerly waiting newsmen after the meeting ended at the Presidential villa.

Although, there are reports that his visit may not be unconnected to  Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) bill 2020 which has continued to generate controversy among citizens, the Christian leader has neither confirmed nor refuted the report

The Christian Leader’s deliberate silence has sparked angry reactions from different stakeholders who feel entitled to the details of his meeting with the President.

IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu  has accused the RCCG General Overseer of withholding relevant information as a ploy to deceive Nigerians in the name of Christ.

Kanu who made these claims on his Facebook page wrote;

“The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God Pastor E.A Adeboye declined to speak with state house correspondents after his meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday,

“Common live interview they cannot do. Deception in the name of Christ.

“I challenge Adeboye to tell the world if he met the old brutal dictator Buhari or somebody that looks like him,”
