New UFC champion, Sean O’Malley says he is under no obligation to stay faithful to his wife since he pays for everything.
O’Malley, who recently claimed the bantamweight title from Aljamain Sterling in UFC 292, made the controversial remark during an appearance on Bradley Martyn’s “Raw Talk” podcast.
He stated that he is free to cheat on his wife Danya Gonzalez, an entrepreneur and hairstylist, because he foots all the bills.
O’Malley and Gonzalez share a three-year-old daughter, Elena.
“I’m a king, I pay for everything. I treat Danya like a queen. If I get a little p–s on the side, what does that have to do with anything? I have testosterone running through my veins; it’s simple.
“If I wasn’t paying for everything, if I wasn’t, you know, successful in any sort of way, and I was just like maybe an average Joe, I probably wouldn’t. It probably wouldn’t be fair. But I’m f–king King Kong baby,” the mixed martial artist said.
Meanwhile, the UFC bantamweight star revealed a couple of years ago that he and his wife are in an open relationship, as per Essentially Sports.
