The vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Peter Obi, has made some bold statements on how far he is willing to pursue his desire of handling the affairs of the country at the national level.
He stated that there was no reason for him to be afraid as he was willing to sacrifice all he had to ensure that Nigerians no longer have to endure the hardship currently being experienced throughout the nation.
The former Abia governor made the assertions during his speech at a meeting with PDP stakeholders in Anambra State.
In the speech which was titled, “Repositioning for power and good governance”, Obi stressed that the citizens of the country have lost confidence in the current administration, and as a result, he would see to it that PDP’s mandate is met by all means necessary.
He stated, “ I am ready to lay down my life to ensure that Nigerians are rescued from the hardship inflicted on them by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government in the country.
“ I will fight for this mandate till the end. The person who is at the helm of affairs today ran for four times and nobody killed him. So, I am not afraid because when PDP was in power it did not kill anybody.”
