Renowned Nigerian hip-hop artist and actor, Remilekun Abdulkalid Safaru, widely recognized as Reminisce, has made a surprising announcement – he is retiring from acting. The talented artist, who ventured into the world of acting with his debut role in the 2018 action crime thriller “King Of Boys,” has decided to no longer accept any acting roles.
In a recent episode of the “Zero Conditions” podcast, the “Local Rappers” hitmaker shared his decision, stating that he has lost interest in pursuing an acting career. Despite his impactful role as Makanaki in the intense crime thriller, Reminisce conveyed that he initially embraced acting as an opportunity to explore something new.
During the podcast, he firmly stated, “I am not acting again. I’m not interested anymore.” While expressing appreciation for fans who wish to see him in more films, he affirmed that this chapter of his life has come to a close. Reminisce’s adventurous nature hinted that he may explore new avenues in the future, leaving fans to wonder about his next endeavor.
