Ace music producer, Samuel Oguachuba a.k.a Samklef has sounded a note of warning to internet fraudsters and other criminals gleefully displaying their ill-gotten wealth on social media.
He stated that it was high time they stopped or got arrested.
Samklef made this known in a video in apparent reaction to the alleged arrest of Malaysia-based Nigerian internet celebrity, Hushpuppi.
Hushpuppi was reportedly arrested in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday after allegedly diverting COVID-19 funds up to the tune of $35 million.
Before the arrest, the internet celebrity, who is known for flaunting luxury items on Instagram, was said to be on the radar of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for a while alongside his syndicate.
Reports of the arrest have since set social media on fire.
In the video, Samklef says those with illegitimate sources of income have no business flaunting their wealth on social media.
“If you know your source of income and your game ain’t tight, stay off the social media.
“Because guess what? You’re shooting yourself; you’re exposing yourself.
“You’re trying to live a (luxurious) lifestyle and yet you cannot provide how you make your money. Y’all, they’re going to come for you.
“They’re gonna stay tracking you…”
