A suspected ritualist arrested by the police has revealed that he trades in human skull adding that he sells fresh human skulls for as much as N1million.
The 45-year-old suspected ritualist, Lucien Tusume, who was arrested by men of the Nigerian police at Iraye village in Sagamu area of Ogun State, following intelligence report revealed that some difficult situations led him into the trade.
Explaining that he was faced with difficulties which led him into the trade, Lucein Tusume revealed that he sold dry skull for N150,000 to the undercover operatives, but the officers bargained for N81,000 which he accepted leading to his arrest.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, disclosed that Policemen had dsiguised as customers to contact the suspect for a human skull, an offer which he agreed to.
The Police spokesman further revealed that the suspect later took the dried human skull to the ‘buyers’ where he was arrested after payment was made to him.
The suspect was said to have revealed durign interrogation that the dried skulls were sold between N80,000 and N120,000 while the fresh ones were more expensive.
He noted that he sells the fresh skull for “N1 million.”
Police sources however revealed that he has remained silent on the source of his supplies.
