Two police constables and one Assistant Superintendent were killed early Friday by unknown gunmen who attempted to raze their station.
It was learnt that the incident occurred at Umutu Police Divisional Headquarters in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State.
However, the assailants failed to burn the station as they purportedly planned.
A source said it was unclear if the gunmen carted away arms and ammunition from the station.
