How Nigeria Can End Igbo Agitation For Biafra – Fani-Kayode

2 Min Read

Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has advised the Federal Government on how to put a stop to the never-ending calls for a Biafra nation.

According to Fani-Kayode, agitations by groups such as the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Biafra Independence Movement (BIM), Biafra Zionists Federation (BZF) and others would cease when the agitators are treated with “love”.

The vocal ex-minister made this known in a Wednesday tweet via his verified Twitter handle.

Fani-Kayode added that there could never be peace until the cause of the agitations were addressed to the satisfaction of the parties concerned.

He reminded the government that Biafra agitators could not be compelled into believing in one Nigeria without their grievances being adequately addressed.

He also described as untrue the belief that agitators standing up to the military were stupid.

“One Nigeria by armoured tanks is slavery,” he said.

Recall that The Herald had reported how Fani-Kayode berated former Abia State Governor, Orji Uzor Kalu for saying that leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu was “safe and well in London”.
