A bride-to-be has suffered an unfortunate fate owing to Saturday morning’s cancelled flights from JFK to Guyana in South America.
The flight cancellation by the airline left about 1,000 travelers stranded at the Queens airport and notable of the stranded passengers was Leezel Cambridge, a 27 year-old-bride whose groom had to cancel the wedding due to the flight cancellation as she could not make it to her big event.
Leezel Cambridge who was scheduled to board a 2:00 a.m flight was shocked to discover that along with others, she would not be leaving the airport and arriving at her destination as scheduled resulting in the dismissal of the over 300 guests who were already seated at her wedding venue waiting for the bride.
The heartbroken bride-to-be said: “I had to cancel it.”
Cambridge along with 15 of her family members were stuck at the airport, on the floor with her wedding dress as her event got cancelled.
