In the pipeline explosion which broke out on Sunday around Abule-Egba, several houses were recorded to have been burnt down by the razing fire, except the building in which the Redeemed Christian Church holds its weekly house fellowship.
Houses on the immediate left and right side of the building were completely destroyed by the fire but the Redeemed church’s house was left untouched.
An Instagram user who recorded a video of the strange occurrence was heard saying:
“nothing happened to the wire, nothing happened to the shop not to talk of this house.
“what busted my head is that the next house caught fire”.

Recall that The Herald reported that the dead toll at the multiple pipeline explosion, which occured around 8pm at Abule-Egba, may have increased to two.
According to reports, the explosion started around Ile-Epo and spread to Abule-Egba, Fagba and Ekoro roads, burning houses, vehicles and leaving many injured.
Residents of that area have fled their houses as a result of the razing fire, while neighbouring residents are alerted and ready to flee should the fire get to their area.
