In the early hours of Tuesday, the house of the Secretary of the All Progressive Congress in Edo State, Mr Lawrence Okah, was brutally attacked by suspected hoodlums.
According to reports, no arrest has been made regarding the attack as Mr Okah disclosed how he luckily escaped being killed during the attack.
Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, APC chieftain and governorship aspirant cautioned the governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, to call his hoodlums to order and prevent turning Edo state into a war zone.
He further questioned the activities of the police force who have made no arrest on the suspected attackers and called the attention of the Inspector General of Police, Muhammadu Adamu and the President, Muhammadu Buhari over the rising unrest in the state.

He said:
“Since the beginning of these series of attacks on our members in the state, we are surprised that no arrest has been. Will the police say they don’t know about it? We know that if the police want to do their jobs they can do it perfectly, so we are calling on them to do their jobs and save our lives.”
