The aim of this competition is to shift the focus of people from using the internet to incite hate speech towards using the internet to improve the quality of our economic and socio-cultural lives. We would focus on the positive uses of the internet and raise awareness on how the internet can be an enabler for improving the quality of life from different perspectives.

The competition which is supported by Google, will kick off on the 23rd of August till the 23rd of September 2018. Participants are expected to submit videos (not longer than 3 minutes) that creatively convey their ideas on how the internet can be used for socio-economic growth using a skit or the art of poetry (spoken words) with the caption or hashtag #Internet4All. Entries for this competition must have creativity, humor and originality and the winners of this competition would go home with cash prizes of N250,000, N200,000 and N150,000 for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.

HomeVida, an initiative of PPDC, is a platform that provides incentives for young scriptwriters and filmmakers to promote integrity values using film while influencing the wider public.

HomeVida also aims to influence the type of films being produced in the film sector (in this case, Nollywood) by providing incentives to filmmakers to produce films that address social challenges and societal value as a contribution to nation building.
