2 Min Read

Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has trolled Manchester United Midfielder Maroune Fellani after the latter tugged at his hair during a league encounter between Arsenal and Manchester United.

The incident occurred while both teams were level and searching for a winner.

Guendouzi had just gone past the Belgian when he tugged at his hair, bringing him down.

The Arsenal starlet spoke to RMC sport and said that he was sure there was a bit of jealousy involved

“I think there is a bit of jealousy there. Maybe he can’t accept the fact that he chose to go back to short hair!” he said

Guendouzi has started life well under Unai Emery, shocking the Arsenal faithful when he started against Manchester City and Chelsea, two games in which he gave a good account of himself.

“I try to give my best each game,” he added, speaking about the United game. “I didn’t start this game very well. I needed 20-30 minutes to get used to the intensity but after that it was great. I’m happy about what I did [in the game].

“It’s true that we had many situations to score. We could have killed the game off later I think. United were efficient. They scored two goals that we could have avoided. We made some mistakes but we did a great game.”
