Retired neurosurgeon, Dr. Ben Carson, who pulled out of the US Republican party’s presidential nomination race last week, sent a ripple through the American political space when he endorsed front-line candidate, Donald Trump for the party’s ticket.
He gave the endorsement at the Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida on Friday, the second Republican presidential candidate to do so, after New Jersey governor, Chris Christie.
In his speech endorsing the real estate mogul, Carson said Trump “is a much more reasonable person than comes across”.
He was it was high-time the other Republican party members united behind Trump, saying his decision to endorse Trump was about America.
But many Americans and watchers of the American political space described Carson as “a sell-out”, and a man hungry for “power and fame”.

Just woke up to this Ben Carson news. This man played us and sold his books. Is his mum in support of this?

It's odd that God led Ben Carson to endorse Trump, because God's been telling me to stay clear of him.

Ben Carson destroyed his own legacy….this is tragic on a level I can't even explain… https://t.co/rgnfwuFswv

Separating his own dignity and values from his presidential endorsement. Ben Carson is truly a surgeon without equal.

I honestly feel like Ben Carson is a waste of money. It's like he didn't notice the Trump racial rhetoric. Yet he goes and endorse him?

Ben Carson said he wanted to improve America when he was running for President. Then he turns around and supports Trump. So which is it?

Ben Carson is officially a crazy senile old man.

Why am I even mad at Ben Carson. Many of the politicians today formed the core of the people yearning for an Abacha Presidency.

If we're lucky RT @DamoSpin Ben Carson heads down the same rabbit hole as Chris Christie. It leads, quite probably, to political extinction

Ben Carson, proving that neurosurgeons don't necessarily have to be smart, all the way to the very end. https://t.co/U4qU4CVLg9

Early favorite for Secretary of Ed in a Trump Administration: Ben Carson. Yay, I can't believe I just wrote that either.
