Former Aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has endorsed the call by Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka that communities must come together to defend themselves against herdsmen attacks.
Soyinka had on Tuesday called on Nigerian communities to defend themselves against killer herdsmen.
Soyinka had also accused the Buhari administration of shielding killer herdsmen in the state by its ‘body language’.
Taking to his Twitter handle on Thursday, Fani-Kayode said: I endorse Professor Wole Soyinka’s call for the formation of local militias to defend our people against the Fulani terrorists. It is time for us to defend ourselves since the Buhari admin. simply refuses to protect us. We are already at war: it just hasn’t been declared yet.
