Traditional rulers in Plateau State have said that herdsmen wreaking havoc in their areas are foreigners.
According to Vanguard, they made this allegation at a security meeting held in the state capital, Jos today.
The meeting organised by the State Police Command sought to find a solution to the herdsmen crises in the state.
The traditional rulers and community leaders at the meeting were from Riyom, Bassa, Barkin Ladi and Jos south local government areas of the state.
Recall that the Department of State Services (DSS) and some sister security agencies reportedly forwarded an intelligence report to President Muhammadu Buhari on the herdsmen crises earlier in the week.
The security agencies allegedly claimed in the report that the Islamic State in West Africa (ISWA) terror group had recruited foreigners to cause mayhem in the country.
