In his plot to get quick money, a herbalist’s son in Abeokuta, Ogun State reportedly died after consuming some strange substances during Valentine period.
The victim, 16-year-old Raimi Fatai, gathered three of his friends and boasted that he could make them all rich through the money ritual procedure usually adopted by his father.
He reportedly followed the instructions contained in a copy of his father’s money ritual process, consumed some of the substances specified in the process and administered same to one of his friends.
However, he soon fell ill and died barely two days later, while his friend is in critical condition in a hospital in the state capital.
Fatai has since been buried according to Islamic rites, a family member told PM News, the medium that broke the story.
The other boys in the syndicate have since been expelled from the secondary school they attend, after the school’s principal called an emergency Parents/Teachers Association (PTA) meeting concerning the unfortunate incident.
The principal reportedly took the decision to expel the students, even though the incident occurred outside the school premises, to forestall a situation where the boys’ terrible act would influence other students negatively.
