Kaka has been handed a life-line, AC Milan has agreed a free transfer deal with Real Madrid for the veteran midfielder according to The GazzettaDello Sport.
The Brazilian rose to fame during his successful stint with the Italian giants where he won a league title, the UEFA Champion’s League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup. Sadly he was never able to replicate similar success with Madrid.
The 31-year-old recently declared his interest in a move away from Madrid before the transfer window closes as it became clear that he wouldn’t play a major part with the club this season.
Over his last three seasons with Milan, Kaka scored 53 goals and 31 assists in all competitions. In his 4 years with Madrid, he tallied 29 goals and 32 assists. Adriano Galliani will be hoping the Brazilian international can recapture his form and make a significant impact on a Milan midfield that recently lost Kevin Prince Boateng to Schalke FC.
Regular football and a decent run of form may very well see the player secure a place in the Brazilian World Cup squad next summer.
Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani, who has been handling talks with Real in Madrid, has told the local media channel that personal terms are yet to be agreed with the player.
