Renowned Nigerian singer Harrysong, whose real name is Harrison Tare Okiri, has been appointed as the Executive Assistant on Entertainment to the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori. The news was shared by the ‘Reggae Blues’ singer on his Instagram page, where he posted a copy of his official appointment letter.
The appointment, which became effective on December 22, 2023, positions Harrysong as a key figure in the state’s entertainment landscape. Expressing his gratitude, the singer thanked Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the trust placed in him, adding that he is honored to take on the responsibilities of the Executive Assistant role.
In his Instagram post, Harrysong stated, “Newly appointed E.A (Executive Assistant) Entertainment to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O Oborevwori. Thank you, my Governor.” He went on to share his excitement about the upcoming events, particularly mentioning the ‘Kingmaker’ scheduled for March 30th and the Sherrified and Ukodo International Festival 2024.
