2 Min Read

Halle Berry and Michael B. Jordan have come out to show support for Megan Thee Stallion following the shooting incident involving Tory Lanez.

On Thursday, Megan Thee Stallion accused Tory Lanez and his team of lying about the July 12 shooting during her Instagram live session.

Megan said: “Yes, this n***a Tory shot me. You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs, lying and shit,

“Stop lying. Why lie? I don’t understand. I tried to keep the situation off the internet, but you’re dragging it.

Megan also denied she had physically assaulted Lanez in the moments leading up to her getting shot and said their argument had nothing to do with Kylie Jenner, as some people theorized.

“I never hit you. Motherfuckers were like, ‘Oh she’s mad ’cause he’s trying to fuck with Kylie Jenner.’ No I wasn’t, You shot me.”

Following her statement, Halle Berry and Michael B. Jordan have shown support for the rapper.

The 54-year-old mother of two wrote on Twitter: “Peace. Protection. Respect. For ALL Black Women. ALWAYS. @theestallion, we stand with you. F**k this sh**. #ProtectBlackWomen.”

Michael B. Jordan also tweeted: “Meg, I admire your courage and applaud you for speaking up. We must Support Black Women, Protect Black Women, and Believe Black Women. @theestallion.”

Los Angeles District Attorney’s office spokesman, Ricardo Santiago reacted to the latest developments in the case, saying: “On July 24, our office asked law enforcement for further investigation before making a filing decision on a charge of felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm — personal use of a firearm, against Daystar Peterson.”
