Unidentified gunmen riding on motorcycles on Tuesday morning attacked a primary school in Kumbotso Local Government of Kano state, wounding three staff members.
The incident took place at the Danmaliki Primary School between 9:30am and 10:00am while pupils were in class. Two teachers and the headmaster were wounded.
The teachers have been treated and discharged but the police say the headmaster is still receiving medical attention.
