Unknown gunmen unleashed violence in Delta state in the early hours of Saturday, invading a police station and killing at least two policemen in the state.
The Armed men who came dressed in military fatigues invaded the Aboh Police Divisional Headquarters in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State, where they killed two policemen and injured several others throwing the community into a heightened state of confusion.
Multiple sources from the community who confirmed the incident said the incident happened around 2am on Saturday.

The armed men took the policemen on duty and fatally shot two officers in duty while many others escaped with bullet wounds.
It was alleged that the one of the policemen died on the spot while the other one died while being rushed to the hospital. The other wounded persons are also in critical condition at the hospital.
The armed invaders broke into the police armory and carted away ammunition and weapons.
According to several eyewitnesses;
“The police were taken unawares by the gunmen. They attacked the police station, killed two police officers and the ones that survived escaped with bullet injuries.
One of the police officers died on the spot and the other one died on the way to the hospital while the ones that are injured are receiving treatment in the hospital.
They also made away with ammunition at the police station. A plain clothed female police officer who was at the gate of the police station escaped unhurt after she told the gunmen that she was a flood victim who came to seek refuge at the police station.”
Police sources also confirmed the attack and added that the armed invaders also took away the engine of a patrol boat belonging to Marine Police post in the community.
