The Practitioners of Content Creating, Skit-making, and Influencers Guild (PCCSIGN) have issued an urgent appeal to stakeholders involved in the Big Brother Naija Season 7 (Level Up) competition, calling for the prompt resolution of outstanding debts owed to winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, widely known as ‘Phyna’.
In a formal letter addressed to Quidax Global, Seven-Up Bottling Company (Pepsi), Travelbeta, and Evans Industries (Unik Soap) – sponsors of the reality TV show – PCCSIGN highlighted the crucial need for the release of prizes owed to Phyna as part of her winnings from the competition held from July 23rd to October 2nd, 2022.
Representing the interests of its members engaged in Content Creating, Skit Making, and Influencing, PCCSIGN emphasized its commitment to advocating for the rights and welfare of its constituents. The guild underscored the importance of sponsors honoring their commitments to the winners of the show, emphasizing that failure to fulfill promised prizes tarnishes the reputation of the sponsors and undermines the integrity of the Big Brother Naija franchise.
The letter, issued on behalf of Phyna, implored stakeholders to prioritize the matter and collaborate with PCCSIGN to expedite the release of the outstanding prizes. PCCSIGN emphasized the significance of open communication and mutual cooperation in swiftly resolving the issue and upholding the integrity of the Big Brother Naija franchise.
