Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has accused the Chairman of Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State, Hon. Rashidat Abiodun Adu, of sending thugs after her.
She said this in a video shot at her polling unit where she went to exercise her franchise in the ongoing governorship and state house of assembly election.
In the video shared on Twitter, Henshaw alleged that the council boss stormed her polling unit to “rile” the people of her local government against her (Henshaw) possibly because of a previous incident between them during the February 25 presidential election.
According to the actress, one member of Adu’s entourage threatened to slap her.
Henshaw captioned the video, “No one can intimidate me!! I have every right to carry out my duty. No amount of abuse or vitriol will work..You are a public servant!! I have taken note of all your thugs!!”
She reminded Adu that Lagos belongs to everyone, reiterating that she would not succumb to intimidation from any quarter.
