It is no longer news that Pep Guardiola will be managing Manchester City from the beginning of the 2016/2017 league season.
However, German newspaper Bild reports that the Spanish tactician will also be taking home a whopping 25 million euros, effectively making him the highest paid manager in the game of football.
Before the management of the club announced his appointment, Guardiola was second behind recently sacked manager of Chelsea, Jose Mourinho, MARCA reports.
Jose Mourinho was earning 17.9 million euros annually, while Guardiola earned 15.2 million euros a year at Bayern Munich.
