World-record signing, Neymar has urged Paris Saint-Germain to increase his salary if they hope to keep him at the club.
The 26-year-old Brazilian has scored 28 goals in all competitions since departing Barcelona for PSG in a 220 million euro deal in the summer.
However, Real Madrid are believed to be pushing hard to land the services of the player, who is currently recovering from a foot injury suffered in February.
Amid the strong interest from Madrid, PSG President, Nasser el-Khelaifi travelled to Brazil to meet the player and his father who doubles as his agent, and the salary increment is believed to have been a subject of discussion.
