A government official has been arrested in connection with the theft of sports kits from the Olympic teams in Rio.
According to sources, the Kenyan police recovered hundreds of the stolen kits from the home of the vice-chairperson of National Olympic committee, Ben Ekumbo.
Following the raid, the vice-chairperson of the Olympic committee has been arrested after he was fished out from under his bed.
Police reported that swimming and athletics gear were found in the government official’s home in Nairobi, Kenya.
