The 2018 Golden Globes was an amazing event.
Hosted this year by former SNL alumnus Seth Meyers, the annual awards show which is the unofficial opener for award season was a powerful experience with great winners and some powerful speeches.
In the film categories, The Shape of Water — Guillermo del Toro’s grown-up fairy tale about a mute woman and a fish-man — leads the nominations with seven. Steven Spielberg’s The Post and Martin McDonagh’s Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri follow with six nominations each.
