Telecommunication giants Glo has named 5 of its ambassadors and other sensational African music acts as entertainers to thrill guests at the 2014 edition of the Glo CAF awards.
The Confederation of African awards (CAF awards) scheduled to hold in Lagos, Nigeria on January 8, 2015 will accolade footballers and coaches across Africa as it is touted ‘the Oscars of African Football’
The top Nigerian entertainers listed to perform at the ceremony include:
Igbo highlife artist, Flavour N’abania; Afro Pop act, Wande Coal ; prominent music duo, Psquare ; Afrobeat icon, Lagbaja; and Asaba-born female entertainer Omawunmi.
Other ace African acts were also named in the list of performers, they include:-
Congo DRC’s multiple award-winning song writer, singer and guitarist, Fally Ipupa; global Jazz icon, Hugh Masekela from South Africa and Egyptian folk
singer Hakim.
Soweto Gospel Choir from South Africa, sensational singing group, Uhuru; pan African group, Cirque D’Afrique and Tanzania’s prominent multiple award-winning singer, Diamond will also thrill guests at the event.

The 2013 edition of the award saw Nigerian youngster Kelechi Iheanacho take home the CAF Player of the Year award and Ex Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi
was honoured with CAF Coach of the Year award.
