The militant group the Niger Delta Avengers who have been the scourge of oil companies with the many attacks orchestrated by them, have made a bold new move.
They have given oil companies operating out of the area an ultimatum of two weeks to shut down operations and leave the Niger Delta area.
The group released a statement signed by its spokesperson, Mudoch Agbinibo, warning that if they were still in operation in the next fortnight, things will get bloody and there will be nothing the military will be able to do about it.
According to the statement, “The Niger Delta Avengers is giving two weeks ultimatum to all oil companies in our region to shut down and evacuates their staff.
