Germany has tightened controls in its borders with France after a terrorist attack killed no fewer than 84 people in the French city of Nice, German police said on Friday.
The German Federal Police said in a statement that border checks were increased at airports, as well as land and railway crossings with France.
“The additional measures were taken in coordination with the French security authorities,’’ the police said.
Report says no fewer than 84 people were killed on Thursday when a truck smashed into a crowd in Nice during celebrations of the French national day.
The French authorities said that almost 48 people of the injured were in critical condition. (Xinhua/NAN)
