In terms of unlikely friendships, George W. Bush and Michelle Obama are up there with the likes of Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart.
But it is what it is and it seems that the two White House alumni are totally BFFs
Bush and Obama got to sit next to each other at the funeral of Senator John McCain and the cameras caught a cute moment when the former President of the United States passed a bit of candy to the former first lady.
The two usually end up sitting beside each other at a lot of these events and they have struck up a friendship that many would have found implausible.

‘I needle her a little bit and around her, I’m fairly lighthearted. [The Obamas] are around serious people all the time and we just took to each other.’ Bush said.
Both Bush and Barack Obama were asked to give eulogies at McCain’s funeral, while Trump wasn’t invited at all, which seemed like a pointed act to show just how unwelcome Trump was.

Has anyone noticed, whenever there is a State gathering, Michelle Obama and George Bush are ALWAYS sitting next to each other. Chatting and giggling with one another. What's going on there?
Laura/Barack y'all don't see this?!

By the way, a Netflix series featuring George Bush and Michelle Obama going on zany adventures together sounds like a great idea.
