American rapper,singer, songwriter, and record producer Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, popularly known as Future has announced that he will be performing in Lagos, Nigeria.
This would be Future’s first ever live concert in Africa. The Future Live in concert, billed to hold on December 29, 2019
This amazing news comes after his just-concluded Legendary Nights Tour with Meek Mill and his recent Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance.
Future was Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Wilburn first became involved in music as part of the Dungeon Family collective, where he was nicknamed “the Future“.

The event will be held at Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. The event is organised by Toro Entertainment Company (TEC).
Future made the announcement on November 23, 2019 via a video on his fan page @futurexsavage.

In the video Future said: ,“For all my Nigerian followers, Future will be performing in Lagos on December 29th.”
Future, who recently dropped his seventh studio album, The WIZRD, has a large fan base in Nigeria which can be traced back since the release of his debut studio album, “Magnified” and other smashing hits such as ‘Mask off’ and ‘Turn on the lights’.
