The senator representing Kaduna Central senatorial district in the National Assembly, Sen. Shehu Sani, has identified the 15 greatest threats to democracy in Nigeria.

Sani, an All Progressives Congress (APC) senator, made this known in a Facebook message on Friday afternoon.

The senator, who is also the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign and Local Debts, identified mass killings across the nation as the biggest threat.

1.Mass killings in the North Central and North West of Nigeria.
2.Increasing spate of Insurgents guerrilla attacks in the North East;the abductions and the plight of the abducted.
3.Violations of freedom of speech and increasing intolerance to contrary political views,peaceful dissent and peaceful protest.
