The Federal Government’s decision to acquire an Amplitude Modulation (AM) radio broadcast licence to reach Fulani herdsmen across various locations in the country is presently tearing Nigerians apart on social media.
Recall that Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu confirmed the acquisition of the licence in Abuja on Tuesday, adding that the radio service will operate on frequency of 720KHz, and will be strictly in Fulani language.
However, many Nigerians have argued for and against the move, with many opponents accusing the Federal Government of insensitivity, especially now that the herdsmen are being accused of pursuing a “Fulanisation” agenda.

There is no need for any Fulani radio. There are radio stations in every state that broadcast i the local dialects. Why does the government need to communicate directly with them? They don’t do that to any other select people. Comm should be done by the nations official carrier

I don't see anything wrong for government to create Fulani radio. Let the Yoruba republic also United so that they too can create oduduwa radio.

Setting up Fulani Radio station with Yorubas, Igbos and Niger Delta financial resources is the highest level of nepotism by the Buhari led admin. This is a classical case of Baboon dey work monkey dey chop.

FULANI RADIO: WHY MANY ARE ANGRY
1. When did it become the job of FG to set up radio stations for ethnic groups?
2. Who would pay for the operations of this radio? Where would the money come from?
3. Is a radio station the most important priority of the Fulani nation now? pic.twitter.com/QcjuWsabVo

PDP minions keep unlocking new levels of stupidity with all these rants about Fulani Radio.
Have they ever stopped to think that Atiku would never come out openly to condemn it,since he claims to be more Fulani than the president?

FG insistence on setting up Fulani radio for the killer Fulani herdsmen is a recipe for national disaster. Hutu leaders spread hate messages against the Tusti using RTLM radio station that led to Rwanda genocide. Radio Fulani must not stand for the sake of national unity.

Having a dedicated Fulani Radio Station is not good for the development, amalgamation and the peace of this country.
This is going to be a propaganda filled atmosphere.
Beginning of the end?
