Tributes have continued to trail the death of a Nigerian man who was stabbed to death in the United Kingdom by unknown persons on November 10.
According to the Essex Chronicle, the 27-year-old man from Chelmsford identified as Ladi Benson was stabbed to death at Great Barrow, Essex.
Benson was reportedly stabbed in an altercation that took place between him and some unidentified persons around 6.45pm local time.
He was rushed to hospital but died the next day (November 11) at Broomfield Hospital, Essex Chronicle reported.
Paying tributes, Kerry Harrington said: “Rest in paradise young man, such a cruel world. Thoughts are with his family and friends xx.”
Another sympathiser, Suzanne-Louise Bright said: “Am in total shock. Why oh why do people carry weapons. They are weak and pathetic. So sorry to the family and thoughts are with you xxxx.”
Local police have appealed to anyone with information as to the identity of the assailants to come forward.
