Four Kenyan women pulled off an unbelievable stunt at a mortuary after each tried to lay claim to a dead man’s body.
According to reports, the women stormed the facility, argued for some period over whose husband the deceased was, before resorting to fighting each other.
Although the fourth woman is yet to be identified, the three others at the scene are Janet Wambui, Lydia Wanjiru, Susan Wakuthii.
Reports equally revealed that the dead man was Peter Mwangi Gicholu who was popularly referred to as boda rider, probably because of his taxi driving job.
He had a son with each of the women and is said to have lost his life after he had a road accident last month.
When the fight broke out between the women, workers in the mortuary had to call in police officers to intervene and settle the dispute as it stalled many other activities in the facility.
Authorities in the mortuary later stated that none of the women would be getting Peter’s death certificate. Instead, it will be handed to his uncle, Kanyekiini Harrison Ngiria, who happens to be his next of kin.
Nonetheless, the women were reassured that when Peter’s properties are distributed, they would All have their shares.
