Former aide-de-camp to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Col. Ojogbane Adegbe has revealed that Nigerians will be shocked if he’s forced to reveal what transpired under the Goodluck Jonathan administration.

Col. Ojogbane Adegbe who was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Wednesday in Lagos has been rigorously interrogated before being flown to Abuja yesterday.

During the interrogation, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, found that the former ADC could open up new facets of the corruption that transpired under the previous administration, one that would surpass what is now known as Dasukigate.

An inside source revealed to news agency, The Sun, that the EFCC is hopeful that the former ADC may soon give full details of all financial transactions and parties involved privy to his knowledge.

Findings so far from the interrogation has revealed documents suggesting a large-scale of questionable expenditure with funds sourced from and outside the arms purchase deals.

Another inside source revealed that “most of the funds were reportedly diverted soon after the election was postponed from the originally scheduled date of February 14, 2015 to March 28, 2015.”

Also revealed as an active part of the alleged loot was a top official of an agency set up to discourage militancy in the South-South, the official is reported to be current outside the country.

Daily sun, at the centre of interrogation of the former ADC reported that there was the “mind-boggling spending” during the two weeks extension of the general election, “which runs into several trillions of Naira, when converted from foreign currency.”

Many top Nigerians including some very close persons to the former President may likely be called in for interrogation pertaining to the roles they played in handling of funds, an internal source disclosed.
