The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has landed in Nigeria following his over 100 days absence in the country.
The president according to reports landed in Nigeria at 4:36 pm today as against the scheduled arrival time which was earlier pegged at 5:00pm.
President Muhammadu Buhari was received at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja by dignitaries and he had reportedly proceeded to the Aso Villa.
The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, Laolu Akande took to his Twitter page to write: “Osinbajo just received President Buhari at the airport & now proceeds ahead of him to the Presidential residence”
The Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad also tweeted:
