Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has announced that the first case of coronavirus in the state, a military officer, has recovered and discharged after testing twice to the virus.
Governor Akeredolu who disclosed this during a press briefing stated that 22 contacts who were traced to the index case have all tested negative.
He also mentioned that the remaining active cases who are currently undergoing treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital have also tested negative and but awaiting the second test result to affirm their status.
