Afrobeats singer, Fireboy DML, has revealed that he’s working on a joint extended play (EP) with fellow artist Lojay. In an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos, Fireboy expressed his excitement about the collaboration, citing their great relationship in the studio.
Fireboy also shared his experience working with veteran singer Lagbaja on the song “Back N Forth”, describing Lagbaja as the most meticulous artist he’s ever worked with. He admired Lagbaja’s work ethic and attention to detail, even though Lagbaja wore his mask throughout their studio session.
This joint EP announcement comes after Fireboy’s recent release of his fourth studio album, “Adedomala”. Fans are eagerly anticipating the collaboration, expecting a blend of Fireboy’s and Lojay’s unique styles.
