President Muhammadu Buhari will reportedly sign the 2016 budget into law on Friday, May 6.
A source, who pleaded for anonymity, said that Buhari was “ready” to sign the budget on Friday, the Nation reports.
According to him, a clean copy has already been sent to the presidency from the National Assembly. “All things being equal, the president will on Friday assent the 2016 budget.”
“The two committees have finished their work and a clean copy is now with the presidency,” he said.
Meanwhile, Buhari is reportedly set to embark on yet another foreign trip on Friday, May 6, 2016, but a source reveals that he will sign the budget before he jets off, Daily Post reports.
