The Super Eagles of Nigeria moved up three places to 63rd position in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola World ranking.
The Eagles managed to climb up in the rankings despite their woeful outing at the African Nations Championship in Rwanda, where they exited at the group stages.
The Eagles however remained unchanged in the African ranking, still stuck on 12th position while minnows, Cape Verde climbed up six places in the World Ranking to 33rd in the world and second in Africa, displacing Algeria, who are now Africa’s third best team.
Belgium meanwhile remained the World’s best team ahead of Argentina (2) and Spain (3), who displaced world champions, Germany from the top three positions.
Asian Team Pakistan were the rankings biggest movers, moving up 21 places to 110 in the world, while Libya were the worst movers falling a massive 24 places to 105th in world.
