The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped to 66th place, from 59th, in the latest FIFA/Coca Cola World Ranking for the month of November released on December 3.
The Super Eagles also dropped to 14th place in Africa from the 12th place it occupied a month ago, despite beating Swaziland 2-0 on aggregate in November to qualify for the group stage of the 2018 World Cup qualifier.
The top five teams in Africa according to the latest ranking are: Cote d’Ivoire – 19th (1st in Africa), Algeria – 28th (2nd in Africa), Ghana – 33rd (3rd in Africa), Cape Verde – 39th (4th in Africa) and Tunisia – 40th (5th in Africa).
World’s best-ranked team, Belgium maintained their stand on top of the log for a second month, after overtaking Argentina in November.
